Esteem South Academy is an alternative provision school for pupils who have been, or are at risk of being, excluded from mainstream schools. Located in South Derbyshire, our main goal is to get vulnerable children positively back into learning by creating a nuturing and supportive and effective educational environment.

We believe all young people deserve the same high standards of education and we truly care about making a difference. We aim to give every pupil the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to individually succeed. Whether a pupil returns to mainstream school, secures a special school place, or moves on to further education, training, or employment, we are here to help them re-engage and support them to be ready for their next steps. We encourage pupils to make appropriate respectful and responsible choices and aim to improve their resilience both academically and mentally.
