School Meals

Our In-House Meal Provision

At Esteem South Academy we currently provided in-house meals for our primary students and for secondary we work together with our neighbouring Esteem MAT school Elmsleigh Infant & Nursery who meals are provided by Derbyshire County Catering Service.

Daily Meal Choice

We offer a simple and nutritious meal plan for all pupils. Every day, pupils are provided with one choice of a hot or cold meal, which is served alongside a dessert and a drink.

The menu is designed to be healthy and appealing. While the choice is limited to a single hot or cold option for primary, and additional cold options and jacket potatoes for secondary we make sure the meals are varied throughout the week to provide a balanced diet.

We are committed to catering to the needs of every pupil. If your child has any special dietary requirements, food allergies, or intolerances, please contact the academy so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Free School Meals

If your child is eligible for Free School Meals, their daily meal will be provided for them. We encourage all parents and carers to check if they are eligible for this support, as it can be a valuable help. You can find more information and apply through the Derbyshire County Council website.
